Cast Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization looking to provide kids with the gift of the outdoors. Founded by Ryan Johnston and Hogan Brown this organization has done an amazing job of giving back to the fly-fishing community by serving underprivileged kids for the past 16 years.

“When you love interacting in the outdoors, the best response is to give it away, to make it grow, and to protect it. The desire is to Share the Adventure-- to give kids something to look forward to, something to enjoy, something to look back on, something to care for, and something that will positively impact their lives.”

Travel Creel’s owner, Joshua Schwartz, is also the Northern California Regional Director for Cast Hope. Joshua had previously supported Cast Hope’s mission and enjoyed the collaborative efforts, often providing food for their events.
