Join the Creel Crew as we head North to the serene and scenic Alaskan peninsula of Kenai, chasing rainbows on the famous Kenai River. This river is not just one of the most beautiful rivers in the state of Alaska (or any state for that matter) but is also one of the most prolific salmon and trout fishing rivers in the world! August marks the start of the silver salmon season and the annual salmon egg drop, culminating in truly epic trout fishing!!

Our lodge is located right on the Kenai River, just outside of Soldotna, Alaska. Fly into Kenai, where our shuttles will pick you up, or choose to take the 2-ish hour drive from Anchorage by renting a car on your own- a trek that allows you to view a bit more majestic Alaskan beauty. We begin each day with a breakfast spread and coffee, then take a short ride to meet our guides. Captain Jordan Carter and his crew of guides will take over the hospitality each day on the river. Float the river and soak up the vast, scenic wilderness along the way, as you wait to come tight on these hard fighting fish.

Chef Joshua has been coming to the Kenai for years. He resources have curated the best local spots to source fresh, local ingredients for every meal crafted by your private, on-site Creel Chef. Lunches are made in the lodge, load up your lunch bag and bring it on the boat with you for the day. Each day while you are out fishing, the Creel Crew gathers up an assortment of fresh, locally caught seafood and Alaskan native proteins and produce. While the region may not be known for it, there is a bounty waiting to be harvested and handed over to us by our favorite local farmers and purveyors. Kick back with your feet up for some R&R after each day of fishing and enjoy a cocktail or cruise around the property. Appetizers will begin flowing with family-style dinner to follow as we close out each amazing (10 hours of sunlight per) day….
